Banchan365 Policy: Shipping & Refunds
1. Delivery & Accountability (No Signature Required)
-
Signature Policy: To ensure the freshness of our perishable products, all Banchan365 shipments are processed as "No Signature Required." This allows the carrier (FedEx/UPS) to leave the package at your door, in a mailroom, or common storage area without a recipient's signature.
-
Same-Day Retrieval: It is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking status and retrieve the package on the same day it is delivered. Banchan365 is not liable for spoilage, damage, or theft that occurs if the package is left unattended past the delivery date.
-
Loss & Theft: Once the carrier marks a package as "Delivered," Banchan365’s responsibility for the shipment ends. We do not provide refunds for items lost or stolen from the delivery site.
2. Issues & Reporting Window
-
48-Hour Reporting Rule: Any issues regarding your order (damage, quality, or missing items) must be reported to info@banchan365.com within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp.
-
Required Evidence: You must provide clear photos of the shipping label and the product in question. For missing packages marked as "Delivered," customers must directly contact the carrier and their building management to investigate.
3. Special Return & Refund Policy
-
Return Conditions: Due to food safety regulations, returns are generally not accepted. A return may only be authorized under extraordinary and specific circumstances (e.g., shipping the wrong item) and only after an internal review by Banchan365.
-
Return Process: If a return is exceptionally authorized, the product must be returned in its original packaging. Please note that return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.
-
Refunds & Credits: Refunds or store credits are processed only after the returned item has been received and inspected. For issues caused by carrier delays (FedEx/UPS), Banchan365 will assist with the carrier claim process but cannot be held directly responsible for freshness issues due to such delays.
