(Spicy) Stir-Fried Soondae (Korean Blood Sausage)
Korean Blood Sausage which used to be a representative street food in Korea, is now served in many specialized restaurants. It's a beloved Korean dish enjoyed by many. Korean Blood Sausage is a traditional Korean sausage made with beef intestines, glass noodles, vegetables, and blood.
1. Prepare the soondae by cutting it into bite-sized pieces (at least 1.5cm in size).
2. Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat, add 3 tablespoons of cooking oil, and stir-fry the vegetables for 1 minute.
3. Add the sauce, stir-fry for another minute, then add 250ml of water and mix well.
4. Add the rice cakes and glass noodles, and let it simmer for about 1 minute. Finally, add the prepared soondae, and simmer for approximately 30 seconds more. Add perilla leaves and sesame seeds, then mix well to finish. (**Be careful not to overcook the soondae as it may burst.)
